The work will be performed at various sites within the continental U.S., but primarily in Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Mississippi. The work shall consist of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to drill borings, recover samples, conduct cone penetration tests (CPT and CPTu), perform pore pressure dissipation tests, vane shear tests, recover CPT-based direct push soil samples, test lab specimens, record test data, install and monitor piezometers, and install inclinometers in accordance with this contract. The exact quantities associated with drilling, sampling, testing, and other Contract Line Items will be governed by conditions and materials encountered at each work site and will not be fully known until after the work has been performed.
