This bid is issued for the renovation of the Heritage High School's (HHS) Main Entrance to ensure it is more secure. This project shall include any required demolition, building construction through a GC and required subcontractors as specified on the drawings and in the Project Manual included in the Attachments tab of this system. This system is a "tab driven" system and each tab in the bid contains information that is either to be completed or uploaded for a final submission. Bidders choosing to submit electronically in this system can begin loading documentation as soon as the bid is released. Bidders choosing to submit a manual bid to the Purchasing Department must do so by the same due date and time specified in this system and must also include the 2023-0074 Online Bid Invitation included in the "Attachments" tab. Below are critical dates that are detailed in the Activities tab of this system.

Pre-Bid Meeting 		A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at the Heritage High School, located at 3741 Lamar Alexander Pkwy, Maryville, TN 37803. Attendees will meet at the School's Main Entrance. This meeting will be the Contractor's only time to visit the site and obtain measurements, etc. Although this meeting is not mandatory, all interested contractors and subcontractors are encouraged to attend.

Contractor's questions will be due in the Blount County, TN's Online Bidding System, Questions Tab by 5:00 PM on Friday, December 2, 2022.

Note: No questions are to be submitted via fax or email to the Purchasing Department or the Architect for this project.


All questions must be placed in the County's bidding system for responses.
