This bid is issued for the Construction of New Artificial Football Fields at Heritage High School and the William Blount High School's facilities. This project shall include any required demolition, land and soil preparation through a General Contractor and required subcontractors as specified on the drawings and in the Project Manual included in the Attachments tab of this system. This system is a "tab driven" system and each tab in the bid system contains information that is either to be completed or uploaded for a final submission.


Bidders choosing to submit electronically in this system can begin loading documentation as soon as the bid is released.


Bidders choosing to submit a manual bid to the Purchasing Department must do so by the same due date and time specified in this system and must also include the 2023-0205 Online Bid Invitation included in the "Attachments" tab.


Below are critical dates that are detailed in the Activities tab of this system.


Pre-bid meeting - 9 :00 AM - Wednesday, May 17 , 2023 - Bidders are to meet at the William Blount High School's Football Stadium and will proceed to the Heritage High School's Football Stadium at the conclusion.


Questions due by - 5:00 PM - Friday May 22, 2023


Bid Due Date and Opening - 1:30 PM Wednes day, May 31, 2023 - in the Purchasing Department's Office and available via Zoom Meeting. See the "Activities" tab for the meeting link.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at the William Blount High School

219 County Farm Road, Maryville, TN 37801 .


Attendees will meet at the School's Football Stadium and w ill proceed to Heritage High School 3741 E. Lamar Alexander Pkwy, Maryville, TN 37803 at the conclusion of the meeting at WBHS .


Note : This meeting will be the Contractor's only time to visit the site and obtain measurements , etc. Although this meeting is not mandatory, all interested contractors and subcontractors are encouraged to attend.
