This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement.
Background: The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, NCO 9 Network Contracting Office, on behalf of the Nashville VA Medical Center is conducting market research through this source sought notice to seek sources to identify potential experienced businesses that are capable of meeting the requirements per the draft Performance Work Statement below.
Purpose and Objectives: Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.
NAICS code: 621999 and sized standard is $20.5 million.
NOTE: Respondent claiming SDVOSB and VOSB status must be registered, and CVE verified in VetBiz Registry www.vetbiz.gov.

Project requirements:

The Contractor shall provide two (2) Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Perfusionist Service Providers and specified supplies to provide services necessary to perform on site Cardiopulmonary Perfusion Services in accordance with the terms and conditions contained herein to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, Nashville Campus (hereinafter referred to as TVHS) on an as needed basis 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays, in support of cardiovascular services. The Contractor shall have one FTE Perfusionist on site each workday, Monday through Friday, except Federal Holidays; and one FTE Perfusionist to provide on-call coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays. At this time TVHS is conducting market research, and seeking to locate possible Perfusionist Service Providers, including any small business providers for these services.

Period of Performance: Services shall be provided on site, Nashville VA Medical Center, located at 1310 24th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37212.

The Contractor shall propose a maximum of five (5) key personnel to be credentialed and be available for scheduling to meet the requirements of the contracts.

One FTE is defined by VA as a minimum of 80 hours every two weeks and does include holidays.
