Questions & Answers ( Golf Cart) 36C24923Q0421
Hello! We have two quick questions about this solicitation. First, your document says "Salient characteristics are those characteristics that make an item equal to the brand name item we specify" but we didn't notice any brand name specified at all. Did we miss that?
No Brand name is listed
Second, this solicitation is on SAM.gov as a Total Small Business Set-Aside, but the document says that, for the quote to be considered, the offeror shall provide "Evidence of being a Vendor Information Pages (VIP) verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business"...which requirement actually applies to this solicitation?
Solicitation was previously listed as SDVOSB set aside. In Amending the Document to Small Business set aside, forgot to remove that statement. It is currently removed in the amended document. I wanted to reach out to you about the contract above. In the solicitation, it is said that the contract is Small Business set aside. But on page 6, under the instructions, it is said that evidence of being a VIP verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business.
I'm new to sam.gov and wanted to ensure I got this right. Is it a small business set aside only or also a Veteran-Owned Business?
This is for a Small Business set aside. (FYI a Veteran-Owned Business, falls under a Small Business set aside; previously this RFQ was restricted to SD/VOSB, but now it is open to all Small Business)
Are we allowed to big as a third party and provide OEM from the subcontracting distributor?
Anyone that is classified as a Small Business may submit a quote.
1. Do all seats in the golf cart have to be forward facing or can the first two rows be forward and the back 3rd row face rear.
Yes all seats have to be Forward facing
2. Is this contract a Small Business set aside or is it a Service Disabled Veteran Owned set aside? In the notices it identifies the potential contract as Small Business set aside, but the documents state it is DSVO set aside. Is one group privileged over the other?
The RFQ was amended from a SDVOSB to Small Business Set side 3. Is a general equivalent acceptable or is there an equivalent that would be acceptable?
The characteristics are listed of what is needed., if it meets that it will be looked at
5. Do you have a desired brand?
No brand name listed
6. If possible please provide a picture of the vehicle you have in mind.
