AMENDMENT 0001:



Amendment 0001 is being issued to extend the deadline for submission of quotes to Wednesday 28 February 2024 no later than 11:00AM Central Time.





The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Nashville District (LRN) is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) Supply Contract for the supply and delivery of one (1) low voltage switchgear & motor control center (MCC) and two (2) panelboards at Melton Hill Lock in Oak Ridge, TN. The base contract delivery date will be seven hundred thirty (730) calendar days after the date of contract award. The technical plans and specifications are attached as a separate document but intended to be apart of this solicitation.



QUESTIONS: Questions shall be submitted via Projnet Bidder Inquiry using the Bidder Quick Key listed in the solicitation not later than ten (10) calendar days prior to the solicitation due date.



QUOTES DUE DATE: Quotes shall be submitted electronically via email to Andrew Roth and Samantha D. Bautch no later than 20 February 2024 at 11:00AM Central Time.



SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Offerors must be successfully registered in the SAM, www.sam.gov, in order to receive a Government contract award. Offerors must have their representations and certifications available on-line in SAM or provide them with their quote in order to receive a Government contract award.



MPORTANT NOTICE: Effective March 22, 2018, new entities that are registering in SAM must submit an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized entity's Administrator that is authorized to register the entity in the SAM database, or to make changes to its registration.



Effective April 27, 2018, entities that are updating or renewing their existing SAM registrations must submit an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized entity's Administrator that is authorized to register the entity in the SAM database, or to make changes to its registration, before the registration is activated.The new registration may now take several days to become active depending on (1) the information provided passing existing validations and (2) the entity's successful delivery of the required notarized letter.



Contractors who are new to the SAM registration process are highly encouraged to begin registering as soon as possible to avoid any possible delays in future contract awards. Remember, there is no cost to use SAM.To find out additional information about the changes of the SAM registration process, contractors should visit the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) link located at the top of the SAM homepage (www.sam.gov).
