Description

Contractor must provide services to disinfect with 1% Virkon solution National Guard equipment in Smyrna Tennessee: estimating ~95 pieces total consisting of connex boxes, trailers, generators, and vehicles. Army will ensure that the equipment needing to be disinfected will be clean and free of dirt/debris that could affect the application of Virkon. All Virkon runoff (if any) will be captured inside containment and pumped into a vacuum truck on site. After project completion wastewater will be disposed of by contractor. Contractor must comply with all local and federal environmental regulations. Fines resulting from failure to comply with any of these regulations will be the responsibility of the contractor. Contractor will use 1:100 (1%) Virkon solution. Contractor will monitor the Virkon dilution process to ensure proper 1% application and will issue a certificate of application upon project completion.
